Cast your Vote

Vote on Election Day

Polls are open from 6:30am until 7:30pm on Tuesday November 3. Take part in the great American tradition of casting your ballot on Election Day! Once you're in line, you will be allowed to cast a vote, so make sure you stay in line!

Vote Early In-Person

Early In-Person voting can be done any time during Board of Elections office hours from Tuesday October 6, through Sunday November 1.

There is NO Early In-Person voting the Monday before Election Day.

Absentee by Mail

Absentee Ballots can be requested as late as Tuesday October 28 by 8:30pm. Once requested, your ballot will arrive in the mail. Your ballot must be received by your Board of Elections office by 7:30pm on Election Day, November 3, and can be dropped off in person.

Voters in Athens can see their ballots early!

The Athens County Board of Elections has provided a tool for voters to look up a sample ballot early. This allows voters to inform themselves on the issues they'll be voting on in advance. You can access this tool here:
